Who Am I & What I Do?

About Me

Hello! My name is Timo Hämäläinen. I am a passionate multidisciplinary digital artist focused on 3D, art, and storytelling. From 2009 to 2024, I worked as a 3D/digital artist and designer at Studio Piñata. contributing to a wide range of projects across different fields. As part of a small creative team and an external partner for both the game and film industries, I created content for games, films, marketing, and advertising for a diverse range of clients. In recent years, I have specialized in game development, collaborating with both major companies and smaller studios. Nowdays, I work as a 3D generalist at METACORE games in Helsinki, Finland.

What I Do?

Modeling (high & low poly), sculpting, design/concepting, texturing, shading, lighting, and rendering. I am also familiar with modern AI-assisted workflows and enjoy exploring new creative tools and techniques. I enjoy creative and visual work and have experience in visual storytelling across different IPs, with a strong understanding of and respect for the worlds and identities I work with. In addition to visual art, I also produce music and experiment with audio/sound design as part of my broader creative interests, and basically all kinds of stuff!
